A heart weighed down with guilt can be too heavy a burden for even the strongest soul…..
Teenage clairvoyant Evie is a survivor. She’s survived a near fatal drowning accident, reconciled herself with her unwelcome ability to communicate with the dead and been shoved off a cliff by a seductive but sociopathic killer. She’s even come to terms with the fact that, thanks to an ancient prophecy of which she is an unwilling but intrinsic part, her future may never truly be of her own choosing.
But some obstacles in life are not so easy to overcome. The irrational and unshakeable guilt that has plagued her since unearthing her family’s long buried secret – the death of her infant twin sister Rose – festers inside Evie, diminishing her spirit more than any other adversity she has faced.
So when, on the night of her eighteenth birthday, Rose’s spirit appears to Evie as her mirror image and offers Evie a risky yet beguiling way of assuaging herself of the torment she feels over Rose’s death, Evie wrestles with her conscience and loses.
She knows she shouldn’t do it. She knows there’s too much at stake. But some decisions still get to be hers – right?
But are Rose’s motives as genuine as she claims?
Or will Evie discover that the true cost of retribution is too high a price – and will she be the only one to pay?

I have abandoned the ironing pile and I’m working hard on finishing Twin but I am unfortunately behind schedule. The actual writing bit is nearly done (another 2-3 weeks I hope!) but then it is going to have to go out for proof reading and editing and that could take about another month. I got a bit over excited when I finished Gifted and released it a bit too quickly and consequently readers of the earlier editions of it found quite a few mistakes which isn’t fair on them and just looks really unprofessional so I don’t want to make the same mistake again!
So realistically, I guess the ready for publication version is not going to be ready until start of June which is later than I would have liked. Sorry to keep you waiting and thanks so much for your interest and support!

Just read gifted on holiday I thought it was fantastic the first thing I did when I got home was to search for more of your books. I can’t wait for Twin going back on hooks August I shall save it for then or at least try!
Seriously though I could not put gifted down it stirred every human emotion it really was impressive

Thanks so much for your lovely comment – I’m glad you liked Gifted. I’m actually in the process of re-writing Gifted at the moment because as I’ve written the second book there were things in the plot that I really wanted to change and add to in the first, so the plan is that all 3 books will be released at the same time, including the new version of Gifted, some time in 2015. The new version of Gifted will of course be free as it would be very unfair on everyone that has already read it to have to buy it again!!
I’m not going to actually suggest a date on which the trilogy will be released as the lesson I’ve learnt along the way is that I never meet my own deadlines – boring life stuff always seems to get in the way!
But as things progress I will put updates on here.
